We had been painting on location that afternoon in this Riparian area on the Napa valley floor near Yountville. The sun had already gone done when I took this series of photographs. There is a quiet hush on the landscape as you strain to see the last light of day. Each object seems to take on a ghostlike persona. The colors begin to fade into the landscape. It was just pure magic.
